John D. and Melinda (Mindy) L. Stadel Scholarship
Supporting students whose faith inspires them to serve their community.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must:
- Be a graduating high school senior.
- Currently reside in Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, or Winnebago County.
- Be a Christian actively involved in their faith community.
- Demonstrate a history of community service, with a minimum of 75 hours during high school.
- Demonstrate financial need.
Specifications
Academic performance will be give high priority consideration in the selection process.
Applicant must provide an additional reference from their Pastor or another leader in their faith community. This reference should highlight how the student's Christian beliefs are demonstrated through their church and/or community service.

The strongest applications will include a reference from someone who knows them well, has personally worked with the applicant, and can speak about their service to the community in detail.
