Applicant must:
- Be a graduate of or current senior at Rockford East High School.
- Demonstrate financial need.
Specifications
Academic performance will be given high priority consideration in the selection process.
Preference will be given to applicants who plan to pursue a career in teaching.

Scholarship Background and Intent
Though Dr. Moore didn't attend Rockford East High School (East), his dental practice was situated across the street from East. Over the years, Dr. Moore's dental practice frequently employed East students. After many interactions and proximity to Rockford East High School, Dr. Moore and his family felt compelled to support the students of East in furthering their education journey, especially those that would like to pursue a career in teaching.
