Community Grants Application Opens August 1st; RSVP for Grantseekers Meetings

The Community Grants Program is CFNIL's largest and broadest grant program, awarding more than $1.4M to nonprofits serving Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, and Winnebago Counties annually. The 2022 Community Grants Program application will open Monday, August 1st, and close Monday, August 12th. Applications must be submitted via CFNIL's online grant portal. Each year CFNIL staff provide information and updates about the Community Grants Program during Grantseekers Meetings. This year, we will provide two sessions, one in person and one virtually via Zoom. The meetings will have identical content and each include lots of time for questions and answers.  Attendance is not mandatory, but encouraged for nonprofits who will be applying for a CFNIL grant for the first time.
