New Zion Baptist Church » recently established two funds at the Community Foundation.  The Church is appealing to the community for funds needed to fix the church building’s roof.  The church building, formerly known as the Montague House, was built in 1928.  Recently the disrepair of the roof has ruined two church offices and a main restroom.  $30,000 is needed for the immediate repair.  Contributions can be made to the Community Foundation.  15% of each contribution will help build a permanent endowment fund that will be used for future renovation and preservation projects. For more information, call Rev. K. E. Copeland at New Zion Baptist Church.
