Grant Pre-approval Form
All nonprofit organizations planning on submitting grant applications for projects done in partnership with the Rockford Public School District must obtain written certification of the project before submitting a grant application.
The Grant Application Pre-Approval Form may be obtained by clicking on the link below. It must be completed by the nonprofit agency proposing the project, and sent or faxed to Erin Mullins, Grant Specialist, Rockford Public Schools. It will be reviewed by the school district and returned to the nonprofit agency within 2 weeks. The form should accompany hard copy documents required by the Community Foundation’s grant application process.
This pre-approval process means grant dollars are directed to the area of greatest need in our schools, reduces duplication of services, and allows for District 205 to offer support and advice to nonprofit programs, ensuring success. If you have any questions about the Grant Pre-approval process, please call Barbara Nelson, Vice President and Senior Program Officer at 815-962-2110 ext. 15 or Linda Sandquist, Program Officer and Director of Marketing at 815-962-2110 ext. 12.
Note: There are two (2) pages to the form. Please be sure to print both pages, complete the first page and send both pages to the school district.
