The Community Foundation administers 75 active scholarship funds on behalf of generous individuals, businesses, and service groups. Scholarships are available for students completing high school who are pursuing the challenge and benefits of higher education, current college students, and non-traditional students seeking to return to school. Recipients must be U.S. citizens. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the schools. Schools must be:
- Accredited institutions and
- Private non-profit or publicly supported institutions.

As the Community Foundation strives for complete accuracy with its scholarships, we reserve the right to update application forms 90 days before the deadline. Only applications started within 90 days of deadline will be accepted. While you may browse the online application at any time, you are reminded to check your calendar before you begin filling out any scholarship application.
You may apply for all scholarships for which you meet the eligibility. However, a separate online application and hard copy packet must be completed for each scholarship.
Unless otherwise noted, applicants must reside within Boone, Ogle, Stephenson or Winnebago counties in order to be eligible.
